In 2010 Wurzweiler School of Social Work at Yeshiva University brought students to New Orleans as a student service project. This experience has been part of Wurzweiler's unique educational experience since 2008. The Master of Social-Work students learned and discovered volumes about impact of the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, and role the social worker continues to play in that disaster. They even assisted in the remediation of mold from an affected house. Wurzweiler Professor Jonathan Fast recorded some video during the trip, and Wurzweiler staff-member Marc Raco edited this Telly Award winning video, "Transformed."
