Al Gore never responded to our first debate challenge, which we posted this past November. http://tinyurl.com/ybn264t

But now that we've upped the ante, how much longer can he resist?

And for those of you who wonder how we could hope to attract Al Gore with only $500 and some bonus items, just remember: Saturday Night Live tried to get the Beatles to reunite for only $3000. http://tinyurl.com/ybw325q

True, they didn't succeed, but then Al Gore is no Ringo Starr.

By the way, there's also a family friendly version of our new debate challenge here:

  • 500 dollars???

  • Hey Al,

If you debate Monckton I will kick in $20 for lunch.

  • Love that background of the Polar Bear being a Polar Bear.

Ever notice when say Larry King has say Richard Lindzen on, the background is always something like a polar bear on melting ice, or smoke stacks spewing water vapor. CO2 is invisible, in case anybody's interested. It doesn't appear as smoke.

  • Al Gore will profit off cap and trade like Obama will. Imagine if that philosophy were applied to the health care bill and argument against insurance companies. How much reduction in carbon does it take to buy no more wildfires in Australia? They should be able to punch that one out on a Texas instrument.

  • @phil8888 They're taking the piss out of him, mate.

  • GW is fic tion from nuclear power - who PAY Al Gore.

  • CEI is mocking Gore, they are just pointing out that he is greedy and just in it for money

  • Al gore has never debated. He's a fraud.

He also makes tens of thousands of dollars just for giving a speech. He has nothing to gain by getting pwned in a debate for chump change.

  • Maybe the problem is that it is Al in the picture with the polar bear when he tried to save it from drowning.

  • I agree with what howtheworld works says, but I'm just a bit confused on this video. why would al gore accept $700 when he probably makes more than that in 5 minutes? also, perhaps al gore is not very good at debating. having said that, I do agree with howtheworldworks, I'm just asking questions.
