she is taking her 'look' and growls from Kerry Ellis, who is my joint fave elphie along with rach, however, taking it from Kerry or not she puts her own twist on it, i LOVE her last growl, just the right element of witch! and yes unacceptable amount of clapping!

Rachel is increadible. I think her growl on ''look'' only works when she does it as part of her ''if you care to find meheeee lgroook to the...'', doesnt sound as good on its own.
I love how she holds the seconds ''Down'' slightly longer than the orchestra.
But you have to see rachel to appreciate her fully, no youtube video does her justice!

she needs to watch her 'solo' pronunciation it's weird lol otherwise FAB

@AlwaysKeepingCool2 Well actually, that is pretty much the regular amount of time for an applause. With WICKED, it takes them like 10-15 sec to lower the curtain, and typically the audience stops clapping once the lights are on and the curtain is down. I saw WICKED 3x on Broadway and 2x in London, and all were about 15 seconds... with the exception of Kerrys last in London (25sec) and Teal Wicks' last on Broadway(30sec) (:

@AlwaysKeepingCool2 that was a pretty long applause ?

@AlwaysKeepingCool2 because everyone around us was pretty much in tears! There was a full standing ovation at the end! Brilliant audience :D

@leelee987654 Don't lie, there is rarely *ever* a full standing ovation at the end of Act 1, people talk about this musical in such sensational terms. The only time I've ever come close to witnessing a 'full' ovation at the end of Defying Gravity was at Kerry's last. What you witnessed was 500-odd people getting up to go and have a wee.

@WhenTheNightIsOver Dude, chill, I meant at the end of the show. And yes, there was FULL standing ovation. Calm it, it's just a show.
