this is extremely stupid regardless of who programmed it...its not a matter of programming. this is a clear violation of OSHA and Fanuc should have the right to sue these idiots. that program is very simple and could be written in about 15 minutes buy an average programmer...you are not skilled. i doubt the payload routine was run with him strapped in. so you turn off collision detect? that's intelligent...the video would have been WAY cooler if he scraped his face on the ground.

The programmer is very brave and very self confident to run the robot with a person attached to it, don't tell about the "test pilot", at this moment I am programming robots but I never would do that, is very dangerous, accidents NEVER happens UNTIL they happens.

It's not half as dangerous as you guys think. He's strapped tightly into a chair, and the sequence has obviously been calculated with the position of his head and the floor plane in mind. His head is not going to move from its position relative to the chair, and the chair is not going to move from its position relative to the robotic arm on its own accord. If it were dangerous, then using robots for actual industrial purposes would be far too risky to be worth the investment.
