What is Stachybotrys Chartarum? Well you might be guessing that Stachybotrys Chartarum is a mold - and you'd be guessing correctly! It is a greenish-black mold that is commonly found outdoors and sometimes found in damp or flooded homes. One important characteristic of this mold species is that it requires constant moisture to grow. This mold can grow just about anywhere where there are water leaks, condensation, water infiltration, or flooding, as mentioned before. The mold will grow on material with a high cellulose and low nitrogen content, such as fiberboard, gypsum board, paper, dust and lint. If you suspect that the growth you observe in your home is Stachybotrys Chartarum, there are some important things you must do. First, you need to find and remediate the source of the moisture problem. Second, you need to remove the mold and thoroughly clean the surface where the mold occurred. Third, you need to make the surface is completely dry, or you may even need to replace the surface/

  • This mold almost took my life, I am fighting it's infection on a daily basis. It now grows in my body in very low amounts. If you are getting sick in your house get a mold test kit!!

Doctor's don't know much about mold infection and you will die before they find the problem, so do your research if you suspect mold in your house.
