The Monday after Hurricane Irene struck, the MBTA Commuter Rail had almost all their trains running, and on time too! The line with the most issues was the Framingham/Worcester line, but they were able to get that mostly cleaned up for the morning rush.

Seen here are an on-time outbound train in Shirley, MA, and some maintenance equipment returning to Ayer after doing some track repairs.
