The action on a shaky head is often understated. You can create a very alive looking profile with a slim worm or a creature. Sometimes a hop and pause works, often though just a slow drag and shake is better. Even when the jighead stops, the worm is moving. Pictured in this video is a Cumberland Pro shaky head with a Zoom Trick Worm and a Big Bite Baits Flying Squirrel.

  • It's not hard to shake a shaky head. The key is to shake it on semi-slack line. I spent 10 years doing this religiously on Beaver Lake with good success. Pull it along then when you contact a piece of cover, try to shake it in place like this.

  • i wonder if he caught anything in that tank.

  • @maplestar67 Thats why you shake it on semi-slack line.

  • But to do this with a rod you literally have to shake it barely an inch
