Barack Obama spent his 49th birthday speaking to labor leaders at an AFL-CIO federation meeting, but GRITtv commentator Bill Fletcher, Jr. noted that Obama needs to do more than attend meetings--it's time for some action on the Employee Free Choice Act. In addition, Fletcher notes, Obama should be situating himself among working people, not just union higher-ups, against the "economic royalists" who would keep the economy's fundamental inequality.
Fletcher joins us via Skype from Washington, D.C. to talk about Obama's ongoing struggle with obstructionism, and how no matter which party comes out of the 2010 elections, the working people need to keep pressing for what's theirs. Distributed by Tubemogul.
Thanks Laura, A AFL-CIO labor union I worked ( United Steelworkers 4889, Bucks County,Pa. ) for aggressively promoted race and sex based discrimination. That was setting different standards across the board for blacks and woman. This discrimination was backed up by the International Steelworkers and the courts. Good going labor unions!

The difference between Obummer and FDR is that FDR was born into the elites and was called a traitor to his class by some of them. Obummer on the other hand is trying hard to become one of elites.
.
However the elites will ever accept Obummer as one of their own. So in addition to having poor character Obummer has poor judgment.
