@surhit I used to love my RP 500,until I played on the Vox tonelab EX.I got rid of my rp 500,355,350 right away.I still have the rp 1000,but I haven't used it for months.The Vox sounds light years better in everyway.

@TheArmin666 Its Far better than Me-70. Actually Tone Quality wise its much better than GT-10 or POD line 6 models. I guess nothing beats Digitech from RP500 onwards in world of Digital effects.

@delacruzneili Nice Question you got there. Yes, to use Amp/Cab effect, you gotta have clean Amp plugged to your guitar. Otherwise it wud be cocktail of Amp/Cab effects. Like you got Laney Amp/Cab and now you set your Digitech RP500 to Marshall Amp tone, what would you get. COCKTAIL Amp/Cab Effect :P

The thing is, I don't exactly remember how I updated mine. But I'm sure that I got the XEdit, NetUpdater and RP500 Driver from digitech[dot]com[slash]en-US[s­lash]products[slash]rp500.
