We were so lucky we actually came out of that game with a win.the first 3 mins leading up to the goal was brilliant but then the game just went pear shaped.there was no great working for the ball and the defence was just awful.

@declanroch Yeah, I wouldnt have mind seeing Arshavin but I would have preferred if he were on the wing and Gervs or Walcott be shifted to the middle. True the best teams win when they play badly but..its just the signs are so worrying, combined with us not signng anyvody yet that Im really fearing for this squad.

@mullac90again Thanks! Yeah I think watching the game my reaction was strong right after but, I wasnt particularly impressed nonetheless, and I think we have to improve to get into the CL.

@kdizzle1 Haha thats pretty harsh. I love SCZC he will be top quality and I think GK is no longer an area we shopuld be concerned about. Spuill is awful. I think Jenkinson has potential, remember he is only young and Djourou showed last season that he is capable of playing really well. I like Gibbs, I like frimpong (fellow ghana man!) and I dont think Ramsey has to be particulalrly fast, Xaviu is not fast but his vision awarness and control of the midfield is what makes him great.

I hope we buy one. And like you Im sick of hearing the same stuff aswell, we are toasted if we do not bring in quality this season. And you are right, a gamble in the short term may reap great rewards in the LT if we win something.
