this video is a little misleading. it makes it seem as if countries like denmark run almost completely on renewable resources like wind. however, a report put out by the danish energy agency shows that total energy consumption in denmark is 809k TJ. of that, only 142k TJ (17.5%) comes from renewable resources. and of that only 24k TJ comes from wind and hydropower plants. that means that only about 3-4% of their energy demands are met by wind and hydropower.

you are conflating "total energy" with electricity - the figure is 20 percent total electricity from wind.
