how to do this:
open terminal - type 'killall Dock' (with a BIG D), dont hit enter yet.
then hold shift and minimize whatever window, then it will minimize in slow-motion. and when you want, you kit enter in the terminal. the Dock will reset, and the window will "freez".
when the Dock refresh, you can use the window, to get it back, just minimize it again or close the program :)
