@nobodyitellyou to settle this I've gone back and read the journals and cluebooks. On the Argument of the figure in the intro here it appears I was wrong so I stand corrected on that. However Tyranthraxus was in both SSB and POD as I had remembered. In SSB he appears as a glowing mouse in the ruins of Old Vergedain as per journal entry 48. In POD you have a mission with Princess Narcacia in Myth Drannor to prevent some Rakshasa from resurrecting Tyranthraxus in an attempt to earn Bane's favour

@Tslotha actually, I've asked around, and I'm afraid you are pretty much alone on this. Besides, it's already been established by multiple sources that Tyranthraxus was as dead as a doornail when the adventurers were sent to New Verdegris to ultimately face the dreadlord. he was killed right before the end of Curse of the Azure Bonds, and no clear attempt was made to restore him to life until PoD.

@Tslotha gee those all caps made that come out far more haughtily than I intended.

Ok let me clarify this. 1) The person talking is TYRANTHRAXUS he talks about (Phlan Was Once Mine) Pool of Radiance. (I bound them to my followers (Curse of the Azure Bonds). Next I sent them to the Dreadlord (Secret of the Silver Blades) and he's talking to them from inside the Pool of Radiance 2) BANE is the one who rips the moonsea away and causes the problems in game and you meet Tyranthraxus again in this game and get to destroy him. But he's the one in the cinematic.

@nobodyitellyou Yes, it is Bane. In my let's play, part 29, I believe I have the Myth Drannor mission which shows Tyranthraxus being reanimated. There is even a part in the dialogue where Gothmenes says he's Bane's servant.

@Tslotha Seriously? Everybody I' know who played this game is convinced that it was Bane who grabbed the cities and spirited them away, then sent his greatest agents to further his goals. If I'm not mistaken, agents of Bane try to ressurect Tyranthraxus, who is dead, during the corse of the game. It was a while ago, but I'm pretty sure it involved the use of a relic` known as the Gauntlet of Moander. I'll ask around, but I've never heard a claim like yours before.

@nobodyitellyou You realise that's Tyranthraxus speaking right?
