Obviously, I know more than you do. There is video footage all over youtube showing how his company just rips Americans off on a daily basis. My family and I are some of the people that he has stolen from. You defending him just shows that you are part of the everyday theft that goes on at this so called business. Jiffy Screw is A SCAM my oil was never changed during my two visits in my visit to the Oxnard Ca location on Vineyard!!! never visit Jiffy Lube do your own oil change or support your local mechanic!

Oh, and it's so useful that Slick Rick puts his email on this video as if they give two shits. I emailed that address three weeks ago and received NOTHING. Not even a freaking form letter.

It is my hope this post may help people understand that even though changing a vehicle's oil is VERY simple, it is one of the few things that, if done incorrectly, can render your vehicle absolutely useless in a matter of seconds. That happened to me. Don't let it happen to you. Think it's worth the risk?

I said that I would post the results of my blown engine due to JiffyLube not tightening my oil drain plug. After initial evaluation by a Subaru dealership revealed chunks of metal/bearing material in the oil filter, Griffin Fast Lube dba JiffyLube acknowledged fault for my oil drain plug falling out, but claims there was no damage done to the engine (direct contradiction to Subaru's report) and only offered to pay for the "diagnostics" and the tow. I am now forced to spend big money to sue them.

I took my car to Jiffy Lube before an 8 hour road trip this week. They finger-tightened the oil drain plug, but neglected to torque it down. The plug vibrated loose about six hours into the trip, completely ruining the motor in my WRX STi.

I was completely unable to reach the JiffyLube store responsible by phone. The management at GFL corporate office promised to remedy the situation verbally today. If they do, I will gladly return here to praise them. I will post the results here regardless.
