Nick: I'm bored.
Kevin: I'm really bored.
Joe: Ok so we're all bored. Let's do something. (his phone rings, checks the caller ID) Oh look its Brittne. Perfect.
Joe: Hey Britt!
Brittne: Can I...come o-over?
Joe: Sure...what's wrong?
Brittne: I'll tell you when I get there.
Joe: ...Ok. Do you need a ride? We could come get you.
Brittne: No...no it's fine. I just want to...no I'm coming.
Joe: (very confused) Alright, if you're sure...see you in a bit.

Joe: That was Brittne...and she was not...(looking for the right word) herself.
Kevin: What's wrong? Did something happen?
Joe: She wouldn't say...but she's coming over right now.
Nick: Is Bridget with her?
Joe: All I know that something is wrong, Nick. Geez! Something is wrong with our best friend and all you can think about is if your GIRLFRIEND'S with her?!
Nick: I was just wondering. God!

-With Brittne-
Brittne: (walking to the Jonas', it starts raining) Oh great! (starts sprinting when she gets to their house she rings the doorbell) Come on come on! answer!
Joe: Brittne?
(Author's note: THEY ARE STILL IN THE RAIN.)
Brittne: (falls into his arms) JOE! (crying into his chest)
Joe: (pats her on the back) Brittne...come on now, what's wrong?
Brittne: (sobbing) I caught K-Kyle ch-cheating on m-me...and I d-d-d-dumped hiiiim!
Joe: (lifts up her chin) Hey now...don't cry...it's his loss. You're amazing and any guy would be lucky to have you.
Brittne: Oh yeah right. Nice try Joe.
Joe: No really. I would...I would die just to be with you.
Brittne: (looks up at Joe) R-Really?
Joe: (lightly kisses her on the lips) Believe me now?
Brittne: (dazed and confused) Y-yeah. (mood changes) But I don't need this now Joe! It's just more confusion. (storms into the house)
Nick/Kevin: Brittne!
Brittne: (crying) You guys...
*Nick and Kevin went over and hugged her for the longest time and then they sat down*
Brittne: (told them the whole deal with Kyle and Alyssa, the whole time she avoided Joe's eyes)
Kevin: Joe let's go get her some dry clothes.
Joe: Okay.

*in Kevin's room*
Kevin: Joe...what's going on?
Joe: Weren't you listening to Brittne when she told us everything?
Kevin: Yes...but why were you two avoiding each other's eyes the whole time?
Joe: ...we weren't.
Kevin: Joe.
Joe: Ok fine! I...I kissed her alright?!
Kevin: When?
Joe: Like half an hour ago...(dreamy eyed) It was amazing...in the rain...but then (he snapped out of it) she told me I was just making it more confusing for her.
Kevin: That's because you WERE, assface!
Joe: I just acted on instinct dude. I HAD to kiss her. I wanted her SO BAD!
Kevin: Ugh. Dude that's our BEST FRIEND you're talking about.
Joe: (smiles) And that's our BEST FRIEND that I kissed.
Kevin: Did she kiss you back?
Joe: Ye-I don't know.
Kevin: (chuckles) Well good job little bro. (starts walking out of the room with dry clothes in his hands then turns around) Looks like she wants you to. (leaves)
Joe: (under his breath) Ass hole...
Frankie: (pops out of nowhere) What's that word mean?
Joe: Uh...it means that I'm happy.
Frankie: Oh ok. Then I'm asshole too! (skips away)
