  • you know i kind of fell bad for these guys, and anyone else who performs as mark and roger, they have to follow in anthony rapps and adam pascals shadow....... but either way these guys did great!!!!!

  • I agree it's a shame people seem to think they have to be like Anthony R and Adam - especially when this is a TV charity show before rehearsals even started ! I think the singing is already far better.

  • i sort of disagree, i dont like these guys better, i dont think that there not as good either.. they were so different from anthony r and adam, that i dont think you can even compare the two groups... thats why i like it.... they made it there own....=)

  • @06scrappy I do agree with you and think it's a shame people are so tied to the original through the show and the film. So many have commented ignoring the fact that they hadn't even started rehearsing in character. Apart from that, Anthony is a highly trained singer and Anthony R is an actor. I just loved him in the part and it's nice to see someone pointing out that a different style should be possible. So thank you! It's a 'discussion' that's been going on since 2007 lol

  • AMAZING

  • I really love this performance from two very talented people

  • nice couple

    , see you soon guys

  • Wow! the singing is really tight. Great combination of voices.

  • @GyThanksGd Thankyou for your nice comment. We think they did pretty good too!

  • I think it is more important that stories like these get told across the world and unfortunately the original cast cannot do it all.

Plus Anthony Callea and Tim Campbell do a really good job!

  • I can't believe they had just met and perhaps practiced this just once or twice before this performance. It's so tight, harmonies are terrific and the timing is excellent (and that 'arguing' part is quite difficult to carry off, I reckon.

It's like they'd been doing this for months.

  • BonginTheOven - I'm also a bit confused by your comment " This is too glamorous". While Anthony and Tim would both look gorgeous in anything they were wearing they are both dressed in casual jeans and shirt/tshirt. Although they sang this amazing song from Rent this was not the musical Rent but a telethon to raise money for a very worthy charity. Anthony and Tim both give a lot of their time and talents to help many charities. I also think they make this song their own. I love it.

  • I love listening to Anthony & Tim sing this great song together. Their voices are so different but they blend together so beautifully. I wasn't lucky enough to see Rent but I have heard such wonderful things about both Anthony and Tim's performances as Mark and Roger. But this was a performance for a charity telethon show. I thought they were both fantastic. I have seen both Anthony and Tim perform in concerts & musicals and they both smile & interact with their audiences and other performers.

  • @BongInTheOven I'm a bit bemused by this comment. Two men dressed very causually in jeans too glamorous? Mind you, they both are rather gorgeous. ;)

Perhaps if they were dressed or performed like this in the musical itself, but here they are not in character , they're not meant to be Mark and Rodger here, and the song is being sung in the context of a charity telethon show.
