Magnificent. The different levels of sound achieved by Horowitz at times seem as two pianists are playing together.

In fact Bach wrote surprisingly many "modern" music. This piece in particular sounds like a romantic piece because you must consider that this piece is an arrangement for the piano made by Busoni which gives more a romantic period sound in the piano. The original pieces was written by Bach for the organ.

Beautiful interpretation, it's hard to believe that Bach died in 1750- this piece could be from the early 1900s. I'd love to know more about the photo too, it looks like someone I know. Thanks for posting this video.
