PBILGER SAYS "You can't cut taxes and pay down the debt." This is so untrue, and let's face it, another lie from liberals. PBILGER, the income into the IRS is at an all time record high. Better use your Google box to check it out. Now, how the DEM Congress chooses to use it is another matter. Has the dem Congress choosen to pay down any of the debt yet?

Newt believes that cutting taxes will make new jobs. The problem with that is the news jobs paid 1/2 of the jobs we are losing overseas and you can see what effect that is having now. And his healthcare is the same thing that President Reagan took off the table. And it still doesn't cover everyone. But there is one thing about Newt that makes me mad, and that is the Death penalty he try to pass for less then 2 oz of pot. I don't smoke it but it did help keep my husband alive for 2 years.

It tells me the way of spending more is not they way to go. You are right the unemployment number is sort of misleading. It doesn't count alot of things, such a many small businesses. But you can't link Newt to the last six years of republican run government. He has had his share of problems with them. So again tell me what is wrong with Newts ideas. Im going to bed now. I don't think you know the real unemployment number. Right now it is about 8 1/2% that is the real number. People aren't being counted that come off of unemployment. (Infor unemployment gov . org) Less taxes dollar, Lge Companies are shipping work overseas, Lost moneies. I don't think Newt's Idea is nothing more then a way to becoming President. 6 years tells me the Rep way is not the way to go.

Now we have it an idea. So even though with the tax cuts which collected more money, because of the growth is stimulated, we still have a problem. It may appear on the face of things that we should simply raise taxes on income and bam we would have more money. But as this kind sir has already pointed out there is a problem with that. Maybe cutting the welfare state in half would be a good start to our debt woes.

LOL, I didn't blame it on anyone. It is what is. You can't cut taxes and pay down the debt. This is what has happen in the past 6 years, so to talk about cutting taxes again with this kind of debt is nuts.
