Guess! It WAS NOT an ACCIDENT :) The guys just put the shell on the ground as they always do. Happened on New Years Eve 2006-2007 just at the begininng of Charles Bridge before midnight.

Ive been in Prague during many New Year celebrations. Advice: wear a helmet, ear plugs, and safety glasses. It is really dangerours and everyone is very drunk and often throw fircrackers into crowds of people. I've also seen people hurling empty champagne and beer bottles into the packed crowds of thousands....it's crazy

@BsAs8Ros8Coa they did not run,because there were lot of fireworks explosion, this is just one, this looks very effective, with lot of little fireballs, but is far that harmful than it looks...again, only the effect is big...no need to run if at a decent distance, but this still quite close to people, I think a little too close:)

@AaronRhcpBass Russians?? The place is in Czech Republic and the guys putting this firework on were Vietmanese who live in great communities in this country.
