@MystroMusicMan what most people forget Shalamar, or any group for that matter is a work situation like any other employed institute and once that job is over, or one quits and work elsewhere, doesn't mean there's hard feelings, or a need for one to have coffee with an ex-coworker (unless a bond was created). People generally move on in life, and as Jody said in this episode you can't embrace the present looking back into the past. Helpful hint for past members who can't seem to get ahead.

@MystroMusicMan Lol. Crenshaw blvd is one of the busiest Boulevards in California, besides Hollywood Blvd and the strip of Sunset, and with tones of people walking, hundreds of cars whizzing by, bus after buses collecting people, this one woman was able to pull to the curb, blocking traffic and recognized Howard, at that point and time? yeah....right! It's just like you said "STAGED!"
Big time!!!

@MystroMusicMan I have to differ from your statement, Babyface wanted the ORIGINAL Shalamar that ORIGINALLY performed the song, so why wouldn't she had sing on the remake? After all, it was Jody's singing style and tone that gave the group it's signature sound. Without her, the single would not had made it mark and most of all, Babyface knew this as a fact....if not, he could have used the trio's replacements such as Micki Free, De'lisa Davis,Sydney Justin, or the now owner of the group Carolyn

@1973cleopatrajones I don't see how anyone would know whatever grudges she's holding unless they had talked to her personally. You're right, she came out ahead in that situation. She was the most successful member out of ALL of them. So, I can't see what she would be mad about UNLESS she was horribly disrespected by the other members or something to that effect. But it seems she wouldn't have allowed her vocals to be on the Babyface remake, you'd think.

@1973cleopatrajones Something IS suspect about that. LOL.. My thoughts on the fan recognizing Howard.. "Yeah, right... somebody really recognized him at THAT point and time as they were filming this documentary.. SURE!"
Staged.. no doubt about it!

@1973cleopatrajones it mus'ta been hard fo' Dick Griffey and his Pack Rats to accept being 2nd best to Jody! hahahahahaha!

@MystroMusicMan everyone complains "Jody Watley should let go of her grudges!" but when asked what grudges she's holding, no one replies. That's like me saying "President Obama should stop holding his grudge toward McCain!" I've never seen a the winner of a relay race, after jumping hurdles and crossing the finishing line ahead of the bunch, hold a grudge against the pack who's pulling up the rear...
Can someone in YouTube land explain this twisted composition to me?

@MystroMusicMan there's so much Unsung edit from this episode (due to the the edit power of Griffey) it was created to paint Jody as the villain, with Griffey's hope of launching a reunion tour. If you watch this series, Unsung, the journalist they are, failed to locate Gerald Brown, but able to stage a fan recognizing Hewitt on Crenshaw, but Jody's Unfiltered staff located Mr. Brown without a problem... I'm sure you're able to fill in the blanks to this mystery!

@MystroMusicMan Your right they did, Babyface Shalamar and LL Cool J, it went to number one in the UK pop charts, they shot a video and did a promotional tour for it, so there was some form of reunion.
@MackDaddyCoolC Suga lump, let's debate on FACT and save the fiction to Jackie Collins. She needs no competition in the creative writing department. Thanks for visiting my channel page, leaving your CUT...and, I have a parting gift I'd like to leave with you as well. You may be a beautiful person from the inside, to bad you were born on the outside, but I guess it's people like YOU the reason why the 'MORNING AFTER' pill was invented! Ta ta....
