Your all wrong! I have herd recordings of NYC and CN 6 and 5 chime whistles, your close, but that is definitly a D&RGW whistle!
-
Hey, if this engine is originally US #152, what does the US stand for?
-
So, this is a whistle like what a NYC hudson would've worn. Sounds very good, but how did it end up on this engine. It was never near NYC tracks.

Did I hear that HRR went to oil? Anybody know?
-
i never heard the term foamer, but kudos to you for putting the old consist on here and if anyones bored by looking at empty rails in woods hes not a good railfan -i rode this train - such a nice day i had at the Huckleberry
-
They should put this whistle on 464, it sounds more like the Rio Grande whistles.

ORIGINAL????????????????? WOW
-
Very nice. i've only heard the MD repro's, and one or two originals on vintage films that I wasn't sure of the authenticity of, i.e. the sound may have been dubbed over.
I'm guessing on he Central's big, modern power, the sound may have been slightly higher pitched since the boiler pressure was higher, correct?

New York Central 6-chime?

whistle sounds like a Canadian National 5 chime. Anyone?
Getting the whistle for the crossing and trestle was part of the whole...
I knew my relief fireman was going to blow the loco down after the trestle so that rounded that part into it.
Grizzly, you got everything exactly right, thank you...
If foamers can't be thankful for videos crews post, then I won't post anymore!
