Introducing 'Porina' who will be releasing her music through Empire.
Porina has been a part of the Bay Of Plenty (NZ) music scene as a performer for a number of years, most recently with her band "Left Hand Break"
Driven to ultimately follow a path of original music, Porina developed her big sound which she defines as "a nostalgic sound, crossed with an electronica feel that is 'Sneaky Sound System', mixed with the raw raunchy pop rock that is 'Pink', spun in with a sexy soul flavour that is 'Alicia Keys'... if that's at all possible!"
'I think my music suits the crowd that has experienced and felt life-changing events that mould us into the final being that we all end up as. I want to keep it real, sing about stuff that actually really happens, as well as have some fun and go nuts! 'At arms reach to the audience, never above them.'
