    Its well known that Cats can be very protective over new born babies. It triggers something in them. There are hundreds of stories of cats guarding babies, comforting them when they're ill etc.

    Accuse me of being a protective parent. One wrong swipe from either the baby or the cat could be the end of eye site to the baby. It's nice and lovable, but again, the baby. Isn't the baby in danger? I'm sorry for being paranoid.
