So far the best experience within the Campaign in Call of Duty 4. Except for the part when that Marine you're playing as actually dies, which is something you'd never except to see which is great.
I'm so freaking tired of the never-dying American allies in this game, so that was a necessary step for me to continoue playing.

However, here's the AC-130 Spectre Gunship sequence in the first Act of the game. You're playing as the TV Operator in this specific sequence while you're assisting Cpt. Price and your own S.A.S character and a Russian VIP, in Russia.

The campaign is kind of standard, I'd like to see smart AI for the enemy and less scripted sequences to make the experience solid. For example, how the hell can fourty "terrorists" (see: Masked middle-easterns with AK47:s) constantly miss your helicopter even with unguided RPGs? Now that's not even funny beeing a parody. And how would a automatic grenade launcher ever take down a heavily armored vehicle? Those HE shells would just bounce off like there was no tommorow or cause only annoyment by those operating the vehicle. Oh well...

I also like the fact when they're showing off the technologies of each important vehicle you're up to in each mission, for example the Abrams beeing shielded by a layer of Depleted Uranium which is the most stupid thing to have as friendly personell and engineers will die early or get critical sickness by radiation sickness or cancer once the armor is hit. But atleast it's a cheap way to protect the hardware...

  • U.S.A's big, and yes, they might take a little here and there. Fuck that, they are the only Damn thing in the world preventing crazy-ass fools to launch nuclear-armed missils all over the world! D: Youtube Comments = Lol-fest. Guys, seriously, grab yourselves by the collar. The world will not improve with childish, yet formal, acts of communication on some website. Get out there, fight for the world, help the world, aid the ones in need, bolster your own ressources first though! Yours Truly - N!

  • @Nickitator

That's not very accurate. How US is the reason why there haven't been any executed Nuclear orgies yet (despite the fact the US was first to develop and use them)? The entire world is set up into alliances, factions, if Kim Jong II would go nuke some country there'd be atleast one Nuclear-armed country to counter-strike. And nobody wants a third world war, but nobody wants to make themselves "defenseless" by trashing their expensive nuclear stockpile.

  • Dogmeat1950 is right. The military is liberating Iraq from it's crappy government. Watch the military channel before you act like you know anything about our military.

  • @Joea6231

Liberate Iraq from a crappy government by leeching off their resources, putting a sticker that says "democracy" on their seat of government and dictating the direction the country is supposed to go is not liberation - it's all-out fascism and political- and military oppression.

And I'm supposed to rely on American sources to get an idea of your military? Like there is any mystery to an meat-grinder sending in youngsters to die for nothing.

  • leeching of their Resources? um they make a hell of a lot of money from the USA buy selling there oil. not really leeching off a country when your putting more money into it then your getting back.

god you need help. also the Iraq war is pretty over for the USA, don't even do street patrols any more. Iraqi military does it's own thing now.

  • @Dogmeat1950

America is still in control of the most oil deposits in the region and is still dictating the direction the resources are going.

I don't need help - I'm the one having a healthy idea of how the world works. War never brings anything but destruction. You can't go to war to bring a loose term democracy, as that would be fascism. And the war in Iraq was over before it started as it was as unprovocated as the Vietnam war and was just as constructive.

  • the USA is not in charge of there oil they run there oil oil. if we wherein charge we would have lower gas prices not higher!!!

  • @Dogmeat1950 I'm not basing my opinion on any news channel. Military Channel is most reasonably funded by republican interests as their politics is so pro-war so naturally there's a connection somewhere if it flags with stated American interests.

Military Channel out of what you've described doesn't sound too unbiased to me since it only portraits the muscles behind the failing minds.

  • @BorkaBonum

  • @Joea6231, he lives in Sweden. and he thinks the military channel is a republican channel rofl. YEP. the Euro news has gotten to him lol.

dumb ass the Military channel is part of the Discovery channel and holds not political views. also the military channel talks about military history/current events not just U.S either kid just stop talking. you clearly have no idea what your talking about.
