  • Ok, I sound slightly douche-like in the first post. What I meant was this. I am fully aware that 99% of the "float effect" will be a mental, visual phenomenon. However, I was curious to know if there was an underlying truth to their claim; irrelevant to whether it was noticeable or not. Like I said previously, Jason and I discussed this in quite extensive detail and couldn't conclude with absolute certainty which way it would side.

  • @juggledave I know what I think... and what I "Think" doesn't really matter.. What I know is that 3 Physics Professors at my university all concluded the same result that I came up with, and I gave them all the specs of the balls... I will not argue with a professor of physics... As you said... " "float effect" will be a mental, visual phenomenon" and nothing more in my opinion.

  • Russians may not float but their easier to catch.

  • @jacus121 - Subjective opinion... Thanks for the off topic comment ;)

  • @KAGEJOSE I never mentioned anything about a specific brand of Russian ball... as far as physics of a Russian ball compared to a silicone, beanbag, tennis ball, basketball, shit ball... or any other ball, there isn't any difference in the peak time of any of them. By no means is this video an attack on any prop manufacturer.

The shell and sand has nothing to do with the physics of a russian ball. Any shell and any type of sand will produce the same result.... Make a video and prove me wrong!

  • @Absoluvely nope. I can afford to buy whatever I want. I already have some Gballz. Bought my first set back in 2008 or so. I also use other brands of juggling bags. My favorite balls are my 2.75 inch silicones I bought from Dube. Got about 14 of those. Just saying it like I see it.

  • @MadJugglerTV Sounds like somebody wants to get sponsored by gballz.

  • @juggledave Also... the peak time.... prove me wrong on there... that is the main concern of this whole issue.
