Haleys P.O.V
I hugged him and buried my face in his neck.
Joe- but you shouldnt have snuck out.
I sighed.
Haley- if I didnt perform I would fail this subject.
Joe- so you should have told me.
I sighed, we went home and logan and I were put back into the time out room.
BANG
There was a storm, rain was crashing down and thunder was booming.
Haley- logan
I whispered.
Logan- yeah.
Haley- were the only ones that know about holly arent we.
Logan- crap, yes!
He jumped down and I got out of the bed, we walked out and down the hallway.
We passed uncle nicks room but the door opened just as we passed it.
Nick- what are you two doing.
We ignored him and kept walking but uncle nick got hold of my arm.
Logan kept going and uncle nick turned me around.
Nick- where do you think youre going? Youre meant to be in the time out room tonight.
I sighed.
Haley- I promised her I wouldnt tell you guys, but, maybe you should know.
Uncle nick looked confused, I pulled him to hollys room and we stood in the doorway, logan was sitting on the bed with holly in his arms, she had her face buried on his chest.
Haley- shes really scared of thunderstorms, she asked us not to tell the adults because she didnt want to look like a baby.
Uncle nick looked over at her then pulled me into a hug.
Nick- thanks hales.
The thunder went and I jumped.
Nick- haley, are you scared too? Is that why you know holly is scared?
I looked down.
Nick- haley, is it?
I nodded.
Nick- hey, hey, honey look at me.
He gently took my chin and made me look at him.
Nick- you dont have to hide it from us, we wont tell anyone, you know that, come on.
He pulled me into a hug and we started walking to dads room, he opened the door and we walked in.
Nick- joe, joe.
He said, gently shaking his arm
Joe groaned and opened his eyes.
Joe- haley?
Nick- haley and holly are both really scared of thunderstorms but didnt want to tell anyone but logan.
Joe- baby, come here
He took my hand and pulled me in bed next to him.
Joe- shhh, storms arent scary, nothings going to hurt you baby, theres nothing to be afraid of.
BANG
I jumped and buried my face in dads shoulder.
He rubbed my back and comforted me.
Joe- You know when the sun forgets to shine, Ill be there to hold you through the night.
He sang, I soon fell asleep.
Nicks P.O.V
I walked into hollys room.
Nick- thanks logan, I got it from here.
He nodded and handed holly to me. She looked up at me with wide eyes.
Logan left and I carried holly to my room, her crying got harder when we got close to my room.
When we were in and the door was shut she looked up at me.
Holly- pwease dont spank me dwaddy
Nick- shh, baby, Im not going to spank you.
Her crying quietened down and I sat on the bed with her, mandy stirred and opened her eyes.
Mandy- hols, honey, whats wrong?
Holly buried her face in the crook of my shoulder again.
Nick- holly is scared of thunderstorms but didnt tell any of us, only logan and haley knew.
Mandy- awwh, honey, dont be scared, thunderstorms arent scary, its just like people up in the sky having a concert like daddy.
Both holly and I gave her a confused look.
I put holly inbetween us.
Mandy- the thunder is somebody playing the drums like daddy does, and the rain is like the one at daddys concert. And the lights are all of the pretty lights that follow uncle joey and uncle Kevin and daddy around.
I smiled and holly nodded.
Holly- daddy is sometimes scary when he plays drums.
I laughed.
Nick- but Im not really scary am i.
I said kissing the top of her head.
Holly- no, youw not scawwy, youw silly.
I laughed.
Holly turned to mandy.
Holly- and mummy is pwetty.
She said, reaching up and kissing her cheek.
Nick- alright honey, time to sleep.
She sighed deeply and we laughed.
She layed down and so did we.
BANG
Her arms quickly went over my body and she clutched onto my shirt. I put my arm around her and fell asleep.
