It is hard to believe this was 11 years ago. She was 29 years old and just gaining fame. I vaguely remember hearing this song but I only thought of her then as a songwriter and not a singer/performer in her own right. She's proved over that 11 years that she is an extraordinary talent. Wasn't this song from the soundtrack, "City of Angels" with Meg Ryan?
I got to see Sarah sing for the first time last month on the Ships & Dip cruise. She has the most beautiful voice on earth even with the laryngitis she had!
Concert content! I love this chance to see variations to beloved songs, and to hear the crowd responding.
It's even better when you get to see some of the artist/audience interaction - that's what always make these moments special.
For example, I was at a Great Big Sea concert when they realized a baby was present in what they thought was an "adult only show" - they broke into an impromptu version of "Skin a ma rink" - classic moment!
Sarah and Nettwerk, thank you for this; keep these coming!
"Sweet madness... this glorious sadness that brings me to my knees." Best lyric ever? I think it's possible.

This and "I will remember you" always make me cry, I don't know why I clicked the link.

I hear this song and remember my oldest sister Holly, it been 10 years seen God called her home!
I will always love this song, we played it for her just before she passed away and it was a song that we had played at her funeral.
