  • Wheres the the bias here????

  • Zappa felt the Synclavier Sampler was the future of individual solitary composing vs. having to use sessionists and communicate what you want. Synthesis, particularly of traditional orchestral instruments, since the M1 has offered composers so much freedom - so Zappa, was as much composer as guitarist, and technically was a gear head, too. He made the first feature film on video and was completely for the DIY aesthetic that is freeing creative choice from corporate commercial claptrap.

  • Wait a minute Frank Zappa was always interested in stuff! new ways of recording! he was messing about with multi speaker stuff remember :) I say Zappa would have been experimenting with everything if he was still about today :) kept an open mind! find what works well together and what doesn't

  • FZ was one of the first rock artists to digitally record a live concert back in 1980.

  • How do you know???

  • Frank Zappa wouldnt go digital.
