Dont have a tachometer in your FORD? YES YOU DO!

for 97+ ford trucks and SUVs that HAVE A DIGITAL ODOMETER! i have heard that a it is 1998 and up for the f150. everyone that has a digital odometer in their ford truck or SUV has a tachometer

Hey thanks for the tip. I have the base cluster and it sucks not having a tach to watch when Im going on long road trips. Ive also found ways to modify my truck for better MPG and still working to get more out of it with hopefully more hp. I read one review where a guy had the cold air intake, throttle body spacer and a tuner and was able to get 40 more hp and 80 ftlbs more with just that along with 3 more miles to the gallon. Im a bit skeptic about those number but still going to give it a try

@TheLonestarcowboy87 just fyi...with my intake and tuner, which is custom tuned by a f150 specialist company, i have only gotten maybe 10 hp at the peak.a tuner will strengthen your powerband all throughout tho so it feels like more. also you will only gain mpgs depending on your truck model. with my intake on my 04 heritage(03 style) V6 reg cab longbed 2wd i went from 18.9 combined driving to 22.5. the same intake on my 08 V6 reg cab shortbed 2wd gained maybe 1mpg.

@timmypstyle also it is the same intake. i took it off my 04 and put it on my 08. my 04 had 3.08 rear end, weighed 3897Lbs and was more aerodynamic. it was lower to the ground in the front and was also a more aerodynamic design. my 08 has a 3.55 rear end and weighs 4364Lbs. my 08 right now is probably getting around 17-18mpgs combined. yes i do have a heavy foot too. but my 04 i drove the same way and even after pretty much flooring it everywhere for a day, and then filling up...

@timmypstyle ...I stillgot over 17mpgs. and i mean i was flooring it and also driving over 100mph for 30 miles or so, then going to a gas station and filling up and still getting 17+mpgs. Driving the same way i drive my 08, my 04 would get 22.5....my 08 gets about 17.5. also the guy you mentioned getting 40 more hp is crap. he probably added all the company claims together to get 40hp. ask anybody who writes tunes. they will say it is a waste of money and doesnt do anything at all.

@SnkEtr81 lol yeah before i found this out i bought a tach for $60 but i kept it on til i traded it in and sold the aftermarket tach to my buddy with a hyundai accent.
