UConn Interview of Geno after Villanova 3 Jan 08

Meghan Pattyson Culmo interviews Geno Auriemma after UConn beats Villanova by 50. Geno says this is "one of our better games in a long, long time" For those that know Geno, this is unusual.

Meghan asked if he just "killed them in practice". He responded "I don't know that I want to be labeled a killer of young children."

Instead, "I strongly encourage that they play hard defensively. And I'm a pretty strong encourager...."

Meghan cracked up laughing.
