sometimes when i shoot it seems my assist hand seems to get in the way and makes the ball flat and makes it rotate weirdly or hardly at all. tips?

@vincecarter15231 That Assist Hand can really screw up your shot. It is usually the "Thumb" of that hand that is the culprit!  Work to get the hand off the ball earlier and pin the thumb to your first finger to take it off the ball. The thumb is what causes the bad rotation.

@ShotScience I play on a highschool team so I'm practicing everyday and we play 5on5 at the end of almost every practice and I usually do fairly well in them but then when I get into games my shots are off. I know I can make them just when in games I don't make that much.

@DaOfficialDominique There are several things that can be a problem for you here. One is a lack of confidence in your shooting. If so, get to work on "Game Speed Shooting" drills. Other things that affect us is fatigue, are unknown and aggressive defenders.

@DaOfficialDominique Well remember, in games you have defenders, fatigue and speed of execution that will affect your shot. Practice, practice, practice is the answer.

When I'm practicing I swish almost everything especially from mid range but then when I get into game situations I don't make as many shots as I do in practice even if I'm open. Any tips? Thanks!

@xSickxxVirusx The ball is going to go where your finish fingers go. If they go to the middle of the nest, then the ball should go there as well, UNLESS your shooting mechanics need some work. If that is the case go to our shooting videos and spend some time working on your stroke. Good luck.

Whenever I shoot It mostly goes to the either right side of the rim and misses or to the left side of the rim and misses how do I get perfectly in the middle and make it?!?
