I just got a GoPro and I've had this issue as well. At first I thought I had some light setting set weird. On mine the entire video turned out purple or normal, it never switched mid video like yours. That was interesting to see that. Does anyone know if that means the GoPro is junk if it shoots purple?

ive had this problem snowboarding too. all ive found is a thread on the gopro forum that says you might need a replacement
