  • I'm fifteen, and I think Yamato is the greatest!!!

i got the new live-action movie for Christmas, and I've always wanted to find something like this!!!!

    ^_^

  • Ok i found it when this was taped , it was the concert from 1984 ,

    Conductor: Naoto Otomo

    Piano soloist: Kentaro Haneda

    Violin soloist: Tsugio Tokunaga

    Vocalist: Kazuko Kawashima

May 4 , 1984 at the Postal Life Insurance Hall in Gotanda, Tokyo.

It was a world-class performance that provided Yamato with a glorious finale. 1,800 fans from 12 to 24 years old were chosen by lottery to attend. Since it was recorded on video, formal dress was required.

I found data on starblazers com

  • Was looking for the orchestral sound track for this series for a while. So much production for a rather cheap looking cartoon. Then again both Lupin the 3rd (Yuji Ono) and Astroboy 1981 (Shigeaki Saegusa) are my fav soundtracks. I love 70's music.

  • Japan rules!

  • Ah , when i listen this, i remember those guys from real Battleship Yamato, i cant but to cry, i love Japanese to much .

  • @bluechao Thank god! I read the script that was posted on line. I'm glad it sank like the Yamato, Arizona, etc lol. That movie would have been a colossal embarrassment.

  • @galloway62042009

Really? Man, I gotta take another look at Arizona's pictures again. Just to make sure.

  • @AlexSDU I think the arizona actaully does! With that small slit bridge like some sort of spacecraft

  • @bluechao

Hate to say this, but USS Arizona ain't got the look to qualify as a space battleship.

But if it was USS Iowa, that's different. It's got that long front section that can be fit with the Wave-canon.

Then again, none of the Iowa-class ships ever lost during the war.

  • @jlistcom

    It's already released? When?!
