Got Me Going Crazy: {Can't Have You}[1]

This chapter is a bit boring, though trust me, it'’ll get better. :3 In chapter TWO.

Chapter One: Another Day, Another Dream

One Week Later

Mary hopped out of Sophia’'s car that had been parallel parked in front of Mary’'s house. The two JoBro fans had stopped by the nearest Target and had picked up the Camp Rock soundtrack and latest two albums (seeing as they couldn’'t find the first one). Hyper, they ran inside and grabbed their usual spots in front of Mary’'s computer. Mary’'s mom, Mrs. Rennay, peaked around the corner.

Mrs. Rennay: *sarcastically* What? No “"Hello!"”?
Mary & Sophia: *staring at computer as the CDVU+ opens for A Little Bit Longer* Hi.

As Mrs. Rennay left, Mary grinned.

Mary: Oh, meeting these guys would be so amazing. Can you imagine?
Sophia: Well, if I did meet them, Joe would fall in love with me for sure!
Mary: *rolls eyes* Suuure.

They scanned through the pictures, videos, and lyrics, giggling and staring at Nick, Kevin and Joe'’s cuteness. What seemed like ten minutes but was really three hours zoomed by, and soon Mrs. Rennay appeared again.

Mrs. Rennay: Mary, you and Sophia have been staring at that computer for hours! Go outside for a bit, play soccer or something. You have to practice, anyways.
Mary: Oh, come on!
Sophia: We might as well. We’'ve listened to every song on all three CDs twice. And we’'ve gone through everything in the CDVU+ thing.
Mary: You’re right…... hey, do you have your bathing suit?
Sophia: *grinning* Oh YEAH! I do!
Mary & Sophia: To the pool!

They changed quickly after turning the computer monitor to sleep mode. They grabbed the CDs and a boom box to listen to the music as they swam in Mary’'s back yard. They dive in the pool to find it interestingly warm.

Mary: Weird…... there are breezes and clouds yet the pool’s warm. We don’t even have a heater! What’s with that?
Sophia: Well, they do cost a lot, and they take a while to install, and—--
Mary: Not the heater! The water temperature!
Sophia: I don'’t know…... maybe it'’s just a good sign.

Mary thought about what Sophia had said the rest of the time in the pool. They ate out at their favorite Italian restaurant, and then went to see Sisters of the Traveling Pants 2. It would be a night to remember, though the next night, Mary'’s birthday, would be even better. When Sophia went home that night, she told Mary that she'’d get a special gift. What’'s the gift, and when do the Jonas Brothers show up in the story?
