Your Birthday in Sunshine Islands or The Best Harvest Moon Birthday Ever!

When you begin any new Harvest Moon game, you are asked to record your Birthday. In many games, however, you must wait until you are married to have any Birthday celebration. In Sunshine Islands, you can receive Birthday congratulations as well as a special Gift from almost every Character, even while you remain single, provided you have reached a high enough Friendship level. When I made this Video, I was playing my first game and it was my first year... Now, I realise that each Character gives one of 3 special Birthday Gifts. Will can give the Firefly Flower, the Red Magic Flower or Pinkcat Flower. Each other Character has three potential Gifts as well. All Birthday Gifts now are included in my written strategy Guides.

I don't have birthday celebrated because it's on Summer 29, the same day as the Summer Crop Festival :(

Remember the heart level requirements for birthday acknowledgements. Do you have characters at high heart levels yet? If it is the first year, and your birthday is at the end of Summer, it is possible that you have not raised heart levels sufficiently yet. Can you confirm this, please? If you have characters at 7 hearts and they STILL don't give you a gift, then I need to add this to my Walkthrough as a potential problem. Thanks!

will the villager give you gifts even if they're hearts is less than 7?

They will give you the Sun Stones if you gave them 5 preferred Gifts previously but they will not give the special gift on your Birthday.

there was a typhoon on my birthday 2 years in a row lol. i was stuck inside of my home for my birthday :(

in sunshine islands you can go inside the other characters houses after the festival

Yes, that is true, but I don't think that is why the player couldn't receive gifts... As I wrote, in some cases, a Festival will conflict with other data, pre-empting it and not allowing Characters to recognise it... Or in this player's case, it could be insufficient Friendship level.

after festiables ya can go into town and the people are in there houses but they dont show on map becasue of festible but they are there hope this helps

The thing is that since I have birthday on the same day as a festival that no one is in town to give me any presents. I can't tell you wether or not this is true at higher heart levels, because, long story short, I acidentaly deleted my game last night. But I will restart my game with the same b-day and tell you what happens after I have raised the heart levels as soon as possible.
