@TheNavysealsrock No, the foreigners only can enlist in the Legion. If you are among elite, then in the 2nd REP you can join the Groupement des commandos parachutistes (Commando Parachute Group) or in the 2nd REG you can join the Groupement de commandos de montagne (Commando Mountain Group). They are commandos and they may work with the French Special Forces in some occasions, but they are not Special Forces themselves.

Can foriegners sign up to be in the commandos de marines, or can foriegners only be part of the legion. By the way, America can fight wars and we don't "win'' wars, we really win wars. p.s. : I am just sticking up for my country, tere are no nasty comments or feelings.
