Author Mr. Jiban Sarkar was born in BALLIYAKANDA Village of Dhaka (Bangladesh). After partition, he came to North Bengal & started living in Dhupguri . After some time he moved to Kolkata and started staying in Central Kolkata permanently. For him bengal's partition was a political conspiracy & like many other, he had to witness this silently. The pain of up-rooted people, the pain of partition, is prominently visible in Mr, Jiban Sarkar's write ups.
