mazereon's Lao Shan Lung guide

This is a video guide designed to help players of all skill levels and HRs kill Lao Shan Lung solo. It's designed for every different Lao you will face.

For every Lao, the armour is always Diablos D, since it gives you Sharp Sword (you need to sharpen less often) and High Grade Wind Pres. This means that the wind Lao generates from walking around no longer pushes your huner around. You don't need to upgrade the defence at all, I'm using that armour for the G rank Lao in the video and killing it easily. You gem in Sharp Skill Inc into the armour.

Otherwise, the guide is self-explanatory. It tells you what items to use and what weapons to use for each Lao, and you can see at the end all three Laos dying with the recommended gear so you can see it does work.

Questions:

Q: Can I use different armour or weapons?
A: Sure, this is only one method to kill Lao, but it is very cheap and consistent. If you try different tactics, your results may vary, though.

Q: Why didn't you gun it?
A: It's expensive to buy all that Pierce ammo, and once you rage Lao it moves too fast for consistent accurate weak point hitting. It also takes a lot longer.

i havent find way to kill high lao solo, i have only repelled it i use crytal nova g cuz it was easiest to make, but its 1 crappy hammer! but i only need couple narga pelts 4 deep dark hammer. then i will kill thousand laos 4 sure. then i can get thousand lao rubies!! then im happy man! i just have learn how to kill lao with hammer. its easy.lol

Dude I suck at MonHun and I solod Grank.

I admit it sucks really hard at the start and things come to a grinding halt.

But once you make a plan of Farming.

i.e Kill this thing,so I can make this thing,so this thing wont one shot me.

It starts falling into place again and you will start killing things in 15-20 minutes.

I'd suggest Conga X or Hermitaur Z,the weaker G monster but with G defence first,gem in Attack up L and make the Juggernaut to get the ball rolling :)

thanks maz i looked at your HBG guild for the dioblo one horned quest and killed him with the empr lao shan cannon but i think i need a little maz montage because i am just starting the G rank quest but they are not that fun so i may quit playing MHFU but i think i just need a little encurage ment from a new montage of yours i dont care what it is about but i would love to see a new one

@burnoutboy777 mazeron also has a guide for naruge, in it he uses, a lao shan emperor cannon. basically spam fire shots on the face. If u can use the shinobi heaven armor, or anything with auto-reload, elem attack up, evade+1 (if u need, but most attacks are easy to dodge), evade dist up, or any combination of the above. Being most attacks are easy enough to dodge, elem attack up, or auto reload are preferable.

really nice guide, so far ive only been able to repel it using a juggernaut hammer but im gonna start using that narga cuga hammer, the affinity on that thing is incredible. Now if you have any good tips on killing that easily enough so that i can get a heavenly scale to make the hammer that would be cool. The way i take him down is the wyvern blade camelia but that takes a while to kill it, it would be great if someone could recommend a better weapon or a good strategy.
