Video from crooksandliars.com of Glen Beck pleading for people to become 9/12ers, is there really any doubt that he has put himself on an extensive pharmacological regimen?

He talks exactly like the TV guy in V for Vendetta, channeling the same emotionally unsettled frustrations, the lost cultural identity and feelings of powerlessness and finishes off by venting his anger at the "government" and what he perceives as left-wing elites controlling him and keeping him and the people down. This emotional manipulation combined with the "war game" insurrection nonsense and you've got a proto-fascist movement building. Beck says there are "millions" involved which is of course not true, but regardless, the right often is more effective in using mass media and "news" as a movement building technique, while liberals hold on the bourgeois notion of objectivity in news as they get swung to the right.

How come no one acknowledges that if there were left-wing elites, they'd be the most generous, altruistic people in the world. Left-wing means the rich get taxed more and the poor get taxed less. So being an elite and being left-wing would mean you're voting against your own self-interest in favor of giving more of your money to help the poor through welfare and social security.

Faux News needs to know this. Either there's no such thing as a liberal elite, or liberal elites are great people!

He is insane. How can anyone be so crazy? And what was with the faked crying? As soon as I saw Glenn Beck and his weird "LOOK ME IN THE EYES" report I knew that he was going to be doing strange things but come on. Really Glenn? Really? I would say that he gives crazy people a bad name but they would gargle and bark in protest.
