Raccoons fishing for acorns

* I am a licensed wildlife rehabilitator. * Jacob and his mom, Jennifer, gathered some acorns for two of the raccoons I'm rehabilitating. This is a video of them fishing for the acorns.

@Skunkeeh It depends. They are incredibly smart animals, so you have to child-proof your home so they don't get into cabinets and stuff. They also need to be entertained constantly so they don't get bored. Most importantly, though, it's illegal to have them as pets in many states - be sure to check with your local Department of Natural Resources to make sure it's legal in your area to have one as a pet!

@bass12pro These aren't pets - they're wild raccoons whom I raised when they were little. They were released back into the wild soon after this video was taken. :-)
