she's not human!! 10 fingers, each individually voiced, 1 doing legto, another one staccato......her double notes are on a different level than anyone else. A pianist from another world!

This is absolutely amazing playing of an absolutely amazing piece. Until today, I didn't even know that Brahms had composed (2 sets of!) of variations on Paganini's 24th Caprice. I performed it today on the violin, and a pianist in the audience said: "Did you know that Brahms had.." And I found this. Polina is one of the most musical pianists I have ever heard. This performance ranks with the very best of the very best. Lawrence Franko
