This comedic short is about a fustrated golf pro wanna-be who calls upon the "Swing Doctor" to help him. In the end, after a few laughs, we learn a valuable lesson about spiritual growth.

This short was shot on one camera with a two-man crew within a 3-hour period. No script was written, and all dialogue was ad-libbed on the spot.

  • Looks great! One of these days, I hope one of you guys who have Youtube resolution secret own to a science share some tips w/us! :)

  • Well, I just followed the tips in the YouTube help section. Here's what I did for this video. #1 Shot all footage in HD (SD is also fine for YouTube). #2 Compressed in mpeg4 at 320x240 resolution at the highest bitrate possible (around 2000 kbps). #3 Enabled hinted streaming. #4 Audio encoded in AAC at 128kbps stereo. I think that's about it. Best thing is to experiment with short clips and change the settings until you get something you are happy with. That's what I did.

  • Around 1:18 you can see the reflector in the lower left corner.

  • I didn't bother masking it out. I figured nobody would really notice - guess I was wrong : ).

  • Not really that entertaining. Hand-held shots really bug me too.

  • Very nice! My favorite line was "What, are you new here?"

  • LMAO, "yackin around there.."

    Good lil vid bro.

  • I think one camcorder was used on this movie. I could tell by listening closely to the background sounds like cars and sudden fade outs of birdsounds. I like lots of scenes though.

  • Excellent actors you got there. They looked and sounded really natural. A few things threw me off: the reflector kept moving and so kept the light on the characters; the music at the end didn't accompany the mood; you used the same transitions over and over again, got boring. However, sound quality is excellent, framing is very good as well. Good job!
