Moms For Mouth Guards - How far would you go to protect your child during sports?

Young athletes are at risk for serious injuries on the playing field, but many coaches and parents are standing on the sidelines. Thats why the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) has joined forces with Pat Smith, mother of four and wife of football great Emmitt Smith. Through the Moms For Mouth Guards Campaign, Smith and the AAO are educating parents and coaches about the importance of wearing mouth guards and other protective gear during sports play. The campaign encourages parents and coaches to take the Moms For Mouth Guards Pledge at www.momsformouthguards.org to keep their young athletes safer on the field. For every pledge received, the AAO will make a donation to the National Alliance of Youth Sports.
