Guild Wars Ectoplasm Farming (guide)

This is a video to show you how I farm my ectos. I've gotten about 50 ectos doing this method over and over. Normal warrior, mesmer, and elemental tomes are usual drops here. Lockpicks also drop somewhat often. Gold items are pretty regular, but you can't add inscriptions.

Radiant and Attunement Insignias on 4 armor pieces, while having a +1 and +3 shadow arts headpiece. You need a weapon with +20% enchanting and have as much energy on those weapons as possible. I use a Totem Axe and a Lian's Lantern.

I only have rank 2 Vanguard in that build, but if I had a higher rank I'm sure things would go much quicker.

This video was made using Ubuntu 9.10, wine (app to run some windows programs), gtk-recordmydesktop, kdenlive, and of course Guild Wars.

@DieBoeseseKlinge1 Nerfed as far as I know. Some say there is a variation of this that still works. I don't know the variation though.

i dont understand it tho. if we give the dude ghost spit to make our chaos gloves.... duz that mean we r just whereing glowing ghost luggies? and y is there a chance of getting an ecto? y dont we just pick up the intire body and hand it to the merchant. its not like he duznt buy everything pointless anyway xD
