  • yeah i think youre right and imagine what would have happened if joe had stayed in deep purple hed have ended up like steve morse playing the same songs for nearly 20 years in my opinion morses solo career is finished and has been 4 a long time now just another example of a great guitarists talent going to waste he could have been a lot better than he is if hed have done what joe did and go his own way because deep purple is finished 2day in my opinion when blackmore left that was it

  • yeah blackmores gone crazy i do like folk and classical music but not when rock guitarists do it its just not right blackmore could have done much greater things like when dio was alive he could have formed a new band with him and cozy powell so its a shame that now dios gone blackmores talent is being wasted i compare blackmore to a wrestler lets say for example the rock he should stick 2 what hes best at wrestling not acting same goes 4 blackmore he should rock again

  • @shredmaster100 Satriani had no reason to stay with Deep Purple. He's got independent musical thinking, writes progressive stuff, he's in a different style. Besides, he's a start himself, Deep Purple is not for him. He has other things to do rather than playing some others' stuff written tens of year ago. :-)))

  • blackmore left because he was a control freak and the rest of the band didn't like it

  • Joe did them a huge favor . At the time Ritchie bailed there were contracts signed that had them going to Japan .Could have been sued and gotten real ugly . The Japanese promoter agreed to keep the bookings if they could come up with a guitar player with star power .

  • wow, that's great

  • @Shredmaster. I totally agree with that comment on Blackmore and the stupid hats and lame music.

  • i wish blackmore was back in purple i mean morse is a great guitarist but he doesnt have the stage presence blackmore has just a shame blackmores gone mad and thinks hes in the 1600,s

  • oh thought he was always bald but did look his old videos up and he had long hair but he is more recognisable bald

  • @shredmaster100 he is not. Joe used to have long hair!
