i thought all the 888 were white this is red
I got same problem in my Astra
impossable to drive without the Sensor the Engine light comes on

If this is a MK5 astra, how did you overcome the canbus problem? My HID kit turns on ok but as soon as the engine starts, it runs for 10 seconds, flickers and switches off.??????

MK5 888 came in 4 colours ( white, red, black and silver ) Mines silver. You need to get a set that is 'CANBUS' compatable otherwise it will throw up bulb errors. Alot of kits on ebay ( mainly the cheaper ones ) say they will work but dont be fooled. The ones in the above where a cheap set and to get them working i had to fit resistors and relays just to stop the lights going off. I now have a new set in canbus compatable and they work fine.
