Similar thing in Japanese Myth: I think she's a Jiang-shi, an undead vampire. Thier arms and legs are stiff, which is why she has that silly 'mummy-esque' pose. Jiang-shi move by hopping or, in Hsien's case, teleporting. They also don't sport the arsenal of claws and blades: Hsien-ko is kept sane by the spirit of her sister bound in a paper seal on her forehead, which is why she works as a demon hunter now.
