i'm from Crescent high school (we're 2A) and we finished 7th at upperstate.
our asst. band directors are actually from FM.

God, how boring.... horrible wind and percussion arranging... tip, get people who know the medium and know what they are doing... this is just lame and an epic fail.

ITS 55 DOLLARS?? holy moly! but couldnt you just buy a dvd of JUST your band?
god my moms going to state this saturday (5A) and she wanted to buy a DVD of us, but theres no way shes paying 55 dollars for a dvd..

No, the State Finals event was only selling a DVD of the whole competition. I did get to film the Color Guard and National Anthem. At least they waited until after that to scold the people that brought video cameras!! Thanks and good luck at the 5A competition!!

congrats Fort Mill to your 2nd place finish at 4A state! does anyone have a video of their performance yesterday...possibly looking over the entire band so i can see forms and stuff? jw :)

I was going to tape the competition until they said video cameras are strictly prohibited. I guess they wanted us to buy the $55 DVD. Oh well
