Tiny Bouncing Objects 2 Animated Music Video

When I set out to create the animations in my original Tiny Bouncing Objects video I had no idea how much of a task I had given myself. In reality it wasn't that I was trying to do something exceedingly difficult, I just wasn't using the correct tools to do the job.

This project became a possibility in large part because of 2 amazing projects. The program I used to create and render all of the models within the video is called "Blender". This is a free 3D modeling and rendering application which has features equal to many expensive 3D suites available. Setting up manual keyframes is what killed the original Tiny Bouncing Objects animated music video. Thanks to a brilliant man named Pawel Adamowicz and his amazing python addon for Blender called "MIDI Driver", I was able to bring my vision to full life in this new, remixed version of Tiny Bouncing Objects 2.0

Of course my work is inspired by the king of all music animation videos, Animusic. Ever since I first viewed his work I have been awe struck and inspired by it. Now it is my turn to get my hand into this amazing form of music and graphic art.

  • Jason, I LOVE this. My favorite little part was the dancing guitar strings. Awesome job.

  • @tigresskat101 Thank you Tigress! I am so happy you enjoyed it so much. <3

  • It's really good but when you say tiny bouncing objects...I imagined something similar the balls from animusic, however you gave us the animations of the actual instruments.

  • @OfficialKraze Yeah, I thought about it and was going to implement it, and then I decided not to because I didn't want to try and design a whole send and return system for the balls. I am sure you will see something like that in a future production though, so keep an eye out. =)

  • You've really do caught that fine atmosphere of the good, old Animusic. Great music, superb video. I'm glad, that I could help a bit. Just can't wait for the next animation!

  • @SirGagarin Thank you my friend. Your hard work is a large part of what made this possible. =)

  • Nice work, even more impressive when you take into account that it is a "one-man" project. I'm heavily into music and 3D graphics production, too, and i completetely understand the work, effort, time, hair-pulling and sweat behind this. Congratulations!

  • that is awsome!! good job Jason!!

  • @JasonWardStudios oh for sure man, look forward to it, its a trippy song choice too

  • This tune (the original) is probably my favorite of yours, so it was of course a treat to see another rendition of it.

Excellent work. Agree, this captures the spirit of Animusic just perfectly.

  • @MatrixParadise Animusic was a huge inspiration to me. Thank you!
