Ray Mears vs Bear Grylls - Bushcraft King Tribute to "60 seconds to what"

A friend gave me this CD and I had this vision of a stand off between Ray and Bear to the music like the film A FDM, also based on a Harry Hill type "fight". Please enjoy the video in the spirit it was intended. It is a bit of fun poked at the two of them, with Ray been shown as the upper hand living in luxury in the wild, while Bear is the long, suffering dejected victim. No evil or malice is intended to either Ray or Bear. I enjoy and like both of their styles and programmes. But Ray has my vote

I admire both Ray and Bear for different reasons and enjoy watching both. Of course, I am biased to Ray and the slant on the story shows but I do like both these chaps so much so I wanted to honour and give tribute to them for the Knowledge and entertainment they have given me. Well, with Ray it has been a way of life really. Bear it's pure entertainment but I think it's really great he became Chief Scout, if he can encourage young people to the outdoors, where they can then learn from Ray, we will have a great nation of future Woodsmen and that would be a great leagacy for both of these chaps. So as Harry would shout "Fight". Please leave comments and rate but please avoid negative nasty comments, neither of these chaps deserve that, they are both great in their style and fields.

I do not own any of the photos or the music, which I think is called "La muerte tenia precio "Rindiendo cuentas" I only know it from the stand off between Indio and Col Mortimer in "a Few Dollars More", the music is written by Ennio Morricone and I think this version is rather funky (after I stopped laughing). Bears photos came from some sort of online fan club, Rays where I could.
I do not imply that Ray would attempt to shoot Bear or harm him in anyway ;-)

Please enjoy & NO OFFENSIVE language, it will be removed. children do use this. If you do not like either one, that's fine that's what makes the world but please refrain from using swear words, there are plenty of other better more humerous words that can be used to describe both should you be that way inclined. bear is more comercial and just dumb things down and make things seem 10x more dramatic than they actualy are just to play to the audience and make survival apeal to the dim and light minded members of public. i find ray is way more informative. this is why i prefer bear

Ray: Always ends up with a nice shelter and wakes up dry and well rested, can live indefinitely in the wild, befriends tribesmen and forms a long lasting relationship.

Bear: Always wakes up wet and miserable, Drinks urine and eats faecal matter (the latter being infested with pathogens), kills animals on tv for entertainment purposes, gets rescued within the hour and spends the night in a hotel. He fell into a hole in the ground in Ireland and the camera man had to give him a hand to get out..

Ray is boring, sure he has the knowledge but defiantly not the physical conditioning. Bear has done more (climbed everest,SAS). God forbid if Ray comes across a steep molehill he might die of exhaustion!

Im sorry but its Ray for me also. Bear eats stuff raw when he could just cook it and eat it nice. Its just a bit too much 'im hard i am' lol where Ray is ' why suffer?' Bear will risk life and limb down a rockface using is laces where Ray will wonder the long way around picking up his meal on the way. Both have one great thing in common, they get people out and about having a go.
